Had to leave Paris as all hotels full for the beginning of the Rugby World Cup starting in Paris early next week. Had to buy linen for the van as it was too cold to sleep in the van without it! Ended up at the largest Ikea store we’ve ever seen! Versaille which was amazing. Tried to get into the fireworks, but was back late from Ikea.

Corinne still had awful cold. Now stuck firmly in her chest. Doctor was fabulous. So thorough and cost E31 which with no waiting and really thorough service! I had to go to a Doctor in Paris and get perscriptions to get rid of it once and for all. Visited Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ill de Citi, Canal River Dinner Cruise, Ritz Paris, Hemmingway Bar till 3am!

Search for Van (via Portabello Rd markets because Dick Van Dyke said you can get anything at Portabello Rd), and take the first one. First day of English summer.
